What is CUPPA doing to reduce the burden of the Tuition Differentials?
CUPPA has cut back on expenses by eliminating staff positions, by reducing expenses related to faculty, by deferring building maintenance when possible and by seeking out financial support through grants and private giving. Also, the decision was made in 2008 and thereafter to increase overall CUPPA enrollment, including the addition of special certificate programs that would not affect the quality of the degree programs, where allowed by our accrediting bodies. These new programs add more non-degree students, and the associated additional revenues allow fixed costs to be spread across a broader base of enrolled students.
