What is cubic zirconia or CZ?
Imitation diamonds, such as cubic zirconia (CZ), resemble diamonds in appearance but are much less costly. There are both good and bad zirconia. These stone were developed during the 1970’s. Most CZ’s look bad and look like glass. The facets are not very well cut, they might contain jagged edges, ect. Question: What is Moissanite Isn’t it a Diamond? Answer: Laboratory created stones such as Moissanite resemble diamonds but are not real. Current testing equipment is required to detect Moissanite and a regular detector will not pick up the stones qualities. Moissanite is not a cheap imitation such as a CZ and a 1 carat loose diamond that is made of Moissanite can cost several thousand dollars. We do not sell and to not suggest buying these stones.
