What is CSULB Ultimate?
We are a club team supported by the school, and we play the sport of Ultimate. More commonly known as Ultimate Frisbee, Ultimate is played on a grass field with dimensions of 70 yards by 40 yards with 25 yard endzones. 14 players convene on a field, 7 from each team. One team starts on defense and pulls the disc (like a kick-off) to the other team, starting as offense. You advance the disc through passing only (you cannot run while you possess the disc) in an attempt to catch the disc in the opposing endzone. All this time the defense is attempting to cause a bad throw, swat away, or intercept the disc causing a turnover and then trying to score themself. Games are played to a point value or time limit.
