What Is Cryobiology?
Cryobiology refers to the study that focuses on the analysis of the effects on biological fluids, cells and tissues at the freezing as well as sub-freezing temperature. The term is coined from the Greek word ‘kyros’ meaning icy cold. Its application is crucially significant in the study of genetic research, infertility treatment, organ transplantation etc. Cryobiology has been developed enormous success in the filed of genetics by means of providing inexpensive ways to freeze and store embryos for future implantation.
