What is crown molding and what is cornice?
Both names are used for both things, but more commonly the term cornice is used to describe the pattern around windows or doors, such as window cornice, while crown molding is more known to be the pattern used to join wall and the ceiling. In any case both cornice and crown molding are a pattern which (with or without ornament) when put two pieces next to each other, the ends match perfectly creating seamless run. We also have recently developed several ornamental cornice patterns that work very nicely to frame doorways, mirrors and even aquariums.
