There are four examinations in a multiple-choice format included in the Dental Admission Test Program: Survey of Natural Sciences (Biology, General Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry) Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Reasoning, and Perceptual Ability. Successful performance on the DAT requires completion of at least one year of college education, which should include courses in biology, and general and organic chemistry.
