The warranty for the recommended IBM/Lenovo Thinkpad covers all manufacturer’s defects. The Thinkpad Protection additionally covers accidental damage (such as dropping or drink spillage.) The warranty does not cover any fire, theft, loss or non-accidental damage (such as vandalism.)
