A variety of programs have been offered under the umbrella of SACSP to assist incarcerated men and women, those in transition from prison to the community and troubled youth. These include an adult Community Correctional program, a transportation program to help families visit incarcerated relatives, a Christmas gift program for children of the incarcerated, Chaplaincy services and a youth group home. Since its inception in 1975, The Salvation Army Community Correctional Program has assisted more than 20,000 men and women in their return to the community.
