What is coordination of benefits and how do I use it?
Coordination of benefits provides greater security and coverage for dependent family members through the combined coverage of two plans. This is especially useful for benefit areas which enforce annual or lifetime maximums. If you are covered for Extended Health and/or Dental benefits under this plan and another plan (i.e. your spouse’s plan), our benefits will be coordinated with the other plan following insurance industry standards.
