What is controlled grazing?
Controlled grazing manages pastures to its fullest potential to produce deef. In controlled grazing, the entire area of the pasture to be grazed is referred to as the cell. The cell is divided into grazing units called paddocks. Then, cattle are confined to each paddock for a grazing period determined by the quality of the individual paddock and the growing season of the cell as a whole.
