What is ConTeXt?
Context is an important concept; it refers to the grouping of artifacts together. Without context, artifacts from a site would not make sense when analyzed. For example, if the remains of a hearth (fire pit) and burned animal bones are found in association with one another or in the same context, it can be inferred that the people who occupied that site were cooking and eating the specific animals represented by the bones.
