What is contained on the Fun Do Hurling or Gaelic Football Skills DVD-ROM?
The DVD-ROM has been divided into four sections, namely Learning, Playing, Rewarding and Supporting. Learning The Learning section focuses on the development of movement and ball manipulation skills such as agility, balance, coordination, running and jumping through the ABC Nursery Programme. Activities to develop basic motor skills like throwing, catching, passing and kicking are also developed in the Have a Ball Nursery Programme. These activities are primarily aimed at children in the 4-8 age group. Playing The Playing section comprises of a bank of innovative activities that can be used to practise and develop a range of Hurling and Gaelic Football skills. Coaching Classes introduces skills, with key teaching points, activities and common errors included so that they can be taught in a developmentally appropriate way.
