I have a dog that is for the most part not a barker, however from time to time she will bark for up to 15 minutes before bringing her in, my neighbor has accused me of her being an excessive barker, to me when she only does this 1-3 times a week she shouldnt be considered an excessive barker. We do our best to maintain respect for the neighbor who has complained, however he is still claiming she nonstop barks. what cracks me up about all this is nine times outa ten that she is barking it is at his cat which he allows to wander the neighborhood. We have been on top of our dogs barking for the past nine months, making sure to be paying special attention to her barking, we have even gone as far as not allowing our children to play with her while she is outside as she will do her playful bark and growel when she is played with.
