You will be timed using a champion chip. Your official time will be your chip time. This will be reflected on your finisher’s certificate. These are accepted by the Boston Marathon as proof of time.

Runners will be timed using a ChampionChip. Official times will come from the ChampionChip. Runner’s chip times will be reflected on the results website and on their downloadable finisher certificates. These are accepted by Boston Marathon as proof of time.

Runners with be timed using a D-Tag system by Chronotrack. Instructions to place this new timing device through your running shoes are on the website www.marinemarathon.com and on the D-Tag itself. Official times will come from the Chronotrack Company. Runner’s times will be reflected on the results website and on their downloadable finisher certificate. These are accepted by Boston Marathon as proof of time.
