What is considered notification of an employee’s on-the-job injury?
Employees should be advised to report injuries according to school/departmental procedures. An employee should be instructed to contact their supervisor when an injury occurs. Casual or informal notification of injury to a supervisor is considered official District notice. Any mention of an injury connected to the workplace to a Supervisor should prompt a First Report of Injury.
