What is considered as the passing score of the GRE exam?

There are no passing scores or failing scores — there are just scores. Different universities use the scores differently — as do different departments within a university. For example, I doubt that anyone in my Finance PhD program at Berkeley got less than a 780 in the Math Section — but suspect that the Verbal scores ranged from 600-800. In liberal arts programs at less selective schools, you may not find any students with a score over 700 in the math portion.
