What is considered accepted language and topics in the TDPRI?

Swear words are NEVER allowed on the TDPRI. We have a wide range of people and ages reading the posts and we don’t want to offend anyone. Please be careful with words that describe countries or ethnic groups — guitars made in Japan should be called “MIJ”, guitars made in Mexico should be called MIM (you can use MIK for Korea and MIA for America as well, you get the picture). If in doubt, use proper words not SLANG. If someone takes offense to your words, apologize immediately, even if you don’t understand the offense. There should not be any drug related language — talking about drugs or drug paraphernalia. Also as with your friends, it’s best to stay away from religious or political opinion. Remember, that the TDPRI is being viewed by people all around the world, of all ages, races, religions and political persuasions.
