What is Consequence Management?
Consequence management is a term for the processes and procedures used to protect the public health and safety during the resolution of any radiological dispersal that results in contamination to the environment. Consequence management addresses the monitoring, sampling, analysis, and assessment of field data, the support needed to sustain the necessary resources, as well as the corresponding guidelines to protect public health and safety.
