What is ConocoPhillips Doing to Address REACH?
ConocoPhillips has established a multidisciplinary team of approximately 30 individuals, involving both business and HSE functions. This team, working closely with external industry organizations such as CONCAWE, has helped to prepare ConocoPhillips to comply with REACH. ConocoPhillips is working to ensure that all substances it manufactures within or imports into the EU are registered in a timely manner. At this time, with very limited exceptions, ConocoPhillips is not registering those substances which it does not produce within the EU or import itself. ConocoPhillips Business Unit contacts are aware of which limited substances have been registered as exceptions to ConocoPhillips policy. To the extent feasible, ConocoPhillips will continue to coordinate with our customers and suppliers throughout this implementation process This project was also recently featured in ConocoPhillips’ spirit Magazine.
