What is Congress doing about net neutrality?
Senators Byron Dorgan (D-ND) and Olympia Snowe (R-ME) are cosponors of S. 215, the Internet Freedom Preservation Act. Common Cause supports this reasonable approach to net neutrality. In the House, Rep. Ed Markey (who is chairman of the Internet & Telecommunications Subcommittee) has promised to hold hearings on net neutrality, and may introduce a bill later this year.
