What is conductivity / Resistivity?

0

Ions conduct electricity. Because water contains few ions, it has a high resistance to electrical current. The measurement of water’s conductivity or Resistivity provides an assessment of total ionic concentration. Conductivity is described in micro Siemens/cm (µS), and measured with a Conductivity meter. Resistivity is described megohm/cm, and is the inverse of conductivity, and measured by Resistivity meter.
