What is computerized keyboarding?
Computerized keyboarding is a one-semester course designed to help students develop speed and accuracy by learning to type on a computer keyboard using the touch method of typing. The main areas of emphasis are proper care of equipment, mastery of the keyboard using correct techniques, proofreading, formatting documents such as letters and reports, and development of speed and accuracy. Keyboarding is also a business education class that each student in Conway Public Schools is required to have.
