What is Compact Laminate?
Formica Compact Grade high pressure laminate is a high performance, versatile, homogeneous material, much thicker than conventional laminate and generally with a decorative surface on both sides. Compact Grade (also known as solid grade) is an impressively strong and damage-resistant material with excellent dimensional stability and mechanical strength. It is frequently used to manufacture lockers, cubicles and wall panels in high traffic or wet areas in public buildings. Its inherent properties also make it an ideal choice for laboratory work surfaces.
