What Is Community Acquired And Nosocomial Legionella Pneumonia?
Pneumonia is the inflammatory disease of the lungs due to bacterial, viral and fungal infection. It can be acquired from community and hospitals. Community acquired pneumonia is most common type of pneumonia which affect those people which are not hospitalized recently. Causes of this pneumonia are bacteria or virus infection. Hospital acquired pneumonia is also called Nosocomial L. Pneumonia. This type of pneumonia is acquired during or after hospitalization for other than pneumonia disorders within 72 hours of admission. This type of pneumonia can be due to resistant type of bacteria.
