What is common between Caveman & Cylinder Seal Arts?
Due to the limited space available on the surface of the Cylinder Seal, a miniature art developed, which (to a certain extent) followed similar principals as that of caveman art, (i.e. reducing the whole picture to the minimum essential strokes of curves and straight lines that represent that particular figure that is being drawn). This is what caveman art and Cylinder Seal art have in common. However the difference is that Cylinder Seal art was carved which gives the imprint a three dimensional touch, while cave man art was mainly painted which makes it a two dimensional art.
