Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) reduces the Damage Liability Fee in the case of loss or damage to the Drive Barbados vehicle or third party property (excluding Rims, tires, hub caps and damaged to interior of vehicle). In case of an accident resulting in damage to a rental vehicle the Customer is liable for the first US$ 750 of damage to the rental car. The excess on cars is US$ 1100 and can be reduced to US$ 750 These charges are collected at the point of collection by Drive Barbados. Drive Barbados include CDW insurance in the quoted rate.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not insurance. It is a written agreement between the renter and the client in which the renter waive all or some claims against the client for damages to the rented vehicle provided it is used and operated in conformity with the provisions of the rental agreement.
