What is Codex?
Codex is a writers’ group for neo-pro writers interested in speculative fiction (Fantasy, Science Fiction, Alternate History, etc.). Neo-pros, for our purposes, are writers who’ve had at least one professional publication and/or participated in one of the top by-audition-only workshops, but who have not yet sold a great many stories or a number of books. We welcome members who are more established, but the focus of the group is always on neo-pros. The main feature of Codex is the online forum, but the site has a number of other components, and members are welcome to participate in an a la carte fashion, choosing the activities they’re interested in and have time for, and ignoring others.
