What is clipper burn? Did my groomer cause it?
Clipper burn is from a dull blade, pulling hair and then cutting it. Simillar to us using a dull razor on legs or face, it will itch and we we may make a rash from scratching it. The groomer did not cause it, the blade did. If this happens to your pet, PLEASE tell the groomer so that we may have the blade sharpened and no other pet will get a sore. We as groomers do not know that our blades are getting dull until it is too late.
