What is climate change, and how do wind turbines help to fight it?
Today, climate change is the biggest environmental catastrophe modern civilization has encountered. Climate change threatens to cause mass species extinction, loss of vital ecosystems, drought, global instability, war, famine, refugee crises, and a further separation of wealth between developed and developing countries. Climate change is the gradual change in the average weather conditions over vast areas of the earth over decades-long time scales. Climate change results in regional changes that can be hard to predict, but in general means that some regions will become hotter, some colder, some drier, some wetter, and there will be more unpredictable and extreme weather events such as hurricanes and tropical storms. The resulting climate changes also cause sea level rise as the oceans absorb heat and expand, and as glaciers and arctic ice pack melt at record rates, adding water to the mass of the oceans. Climate change has the potential to cause massive damage to the earths ecosystem,
