WHAT IS CLICKAIR?
Clickair is the new low-cost with a share from Iberia, a major Spanish Airline. Clickair is the commercial name of the new airline and the web page is www.clickair.com. The 25th of July 2006 this commercial name was unveiled. Until that date the media referred to the new future airline as Catair. So one may have the feeling that the company was first called Catair and then Clickair (well in fact that is what has happened in practical terms) but as one can see in the clickair privacy policy page, Catair (as the abbreviation of Catair Lineas Aereas) is the name of the holding and Clickair is the commercial name. The name Clickair was chosen according to sources of the company because besides being an international name it relates to Internet, the main source of Clickair future revenues. Domains such as clickair.com and clickair.es were already registered to Catair Lineas Aereas in the Autumm of 2005 so that it was not so strange that clickair was chosen instead of Mediterranean Airlines
