What is classified as a project?
fDi Markets tracks Greenfield and Expansion investments. fDi Markets tracks all new projects and expansions of existing investments. Joint ventures are only included where they lead to a new physical (Greenfield) operation. Mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and other equity investments are not tracked. There is no minimum size for a project to be included. However, every project has to create new direct jobs and capital investment.
