What is classical conditioning and how did Pavlov study it?
Ivan Pavlov is the originator of what is now called classical conditioning, a form of learning base primarily on stimuli that causes reflexes, such as salvation in response to food. Conditioning: the establishment of a relationship between stimuli and responses, or vice versa. Learning: a relatively permanent change in behavior potential as a result of experience.. Reflexes: a built-in or otherwise automatic response to a specific stimulus.
