What is Class Act and the Bravo Assembly?
Class Act is an partnership between Mission Parish School and Orange County’s Pacific Symphony (OCPS). Each year OCPS selects a famous composer for the Class Act program. The students learn about his life and music through the Prelude Assembly, classroom lessons, Family Night, and the youth concert at the Orange County Performing Arts Center. Each year an “adopted” musician comes to MPS to instruct our classes in a lessons which our teachers reinforce throughout the year. At the end of the year, Grades 1-8 perform a Bravo Assembly showing the OCPS what we have learned throughout the year and thanking OCPS for their partnership with MPS.
