It is the area’s largest bank with $1.7 billion in deposits. The company has a Wachovia Securities office on 10th Street that is not part of the deal with CitiGroup. It will remain part of Wachovia. Q: WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO MY ACCOUNT? A: Wachovia and CitiGroup urge their customers to continue banking as usual. The acquisition is not yet complete. The deal still must be approved by the federal regulators and Wachovia’s shareholders.
