What is Circuit Bending?
“AMANDA CLAIRE: So we can start out with a basic definition of what a circuit bending is. When you bend a circuit, what we mean by that is you’re basically redirecting the flow of electrons between parts on the circuit board that aren’t connected when you start out. Okay, and that’s really all it means. So think about bending a wire from one place to another where there really wasn’t a wire before. So that’s kinda what we mean when we say circuit bending. We’re taking a circuit board and really all a circuit board is, it’s a kind of linear ordered way that electrons flow between the components of that circuit, right? But if you change those direction that electrons flow or you make electrons go somewhere else then you cause that circuit to behave in a different way. So think of it this way, I mean the neighborhood you lived in has streets laid out in a particular fashion and think about it as the circuit board.
