What is Choreography?
Choreography at Dartington is inspired by a vision that interweaves disciplined training with creative freedom. Choreography encourages the expression of ideas through dance, movement languages and compositional forms on the body and between bodies. Choreography interweaves the practice of performer and performance maker as two integral elements of the creative process. Choreography combines movement skills with choreographic practice and theoretical research to nurture each person’s physical confidence and dynamic presence as a choreographer in the world of work.
