– China is the world’s largest developing country and EU is the largest bloc of developed countries. Stable China-EU relations are in the interest of both parties. China-EU relations are standing on the new historical starting point and have broad development space. China is willing to promote further development of China-EU strategic partnership, strengthen strategic dialogue to enhance mutual understanding and trust, deepen economic cooperation to realize win-win progress of mutual benefits, expand cultural cooperation to consolidate the social foundation of the China-EU relations. China is also willing to strengthen communication and coordination with EU in important multilateral mechanisms such as G20 to address the international financial crisis, climate change, energy security, unconventional security threats and other global challenges.
