What is Chicken of the Sea doing to stop people from cheating, including stopping “bots” and automated voting?
To help ensure the integrity of the Mermaid Jingle Jam contest, we have added several security measures. We have been analyzing all votes retroactive to when voting opened and some finalists’ total scores have been adjusted to account for invalid votes cast by invalid e-mail addresses. We will also be adjusting the vote totals periodically throughout the remainder of the contest voting, as well as once the voting has closed Dec. 9.
