What is Chesterfield Countys personal property tax rate?
The personal property tax rate is $3.60 per $100 of assessed value. Taxes are levied on a calendar year basis and are collected by June 5th of each year. For tax year 2009, the PPTRA relief percentage is 60% on the first $20,000 of assessed value for qualifying vehicles. Qualifying vehicles valued at $1,000 or less will receive 100% relief.
