Check Safekeeping is a free service offered by Wachovia. Copies of personal checks are retained for seven years by Wachovia instead of having them returned with your statement. Customers can request three copies of their personal checks per statement cycle free of charge. These copies are considered legal replacements for the original checks. Note: Customers can also view and print 16 months of front check images and up to 90 days of front and back images through Online Banking.
