What is Chance to shine National Cricket Day?
A. Chance to shine National Cricket Day is a day of cricket-themed activity – both in the classroom and in the playground – on Tuesday 23 June 2009 – for primary and secondary schools across England and Wales. It is an opportunity to raise awareness of Chance to shine in schools and clubs and to celebrate the success to date of the campaign. Thousands of children will enjoy a wide range of cross-curricular lessons, from crafting cricket poems in English and working out the co-ordinates of a cricket field in Maths, to cricket competitions between classes and other local schools.
