What is CGCs mission and focus?
Chicago Global Citizens (CGC) addresses social and economic needs in developing countries by utilizing the skills and resources of the Chicago Booth community. CGC organizes programs that make a concrete, measurable impact in the developing world. Over the past twenty years, significant progress has been made to alleviate poverty and increase opportunities for many individuals and communities in the developing world. Various non-profit and non-governmental organizations strive to solve the puzzle of economic development to continue this improvement. However, there is still an enormous amount of work that needs to be done to give people in developing countries a chance to improve their quality of life.
