What is Cerner doing for its employees during the Y2K event?

Cerner appreciates all its associates who have volunteered their time during this holiday, and all the associates with specialized skills who are called on to serve our clients either at the Cerner campus, another location, or on an on-call basis. Without the efforts of all Cerner associates over the years weve been considering the Y2K event, Cerner could not be as comfortably prepared as it is. Cerner Corporation is making sure that associates have access to childcare, healthy meals, and comfortable leisure amenities during the entire weekend. Since it is Cerners policy not to discuss personnel or compensation issues, we will not disclose the specifics of compensation. Likewise, because many of the special activities our associates will enjoy during the weekend are surprises, we do not want to risk spoiling those surprises by disclosing them to the media.
