Cellulitis is an infection of dermis and subcutaneous tissues mostly caused by several types of bacteria. Staphylococcus Aureus and Streptococcus type A are two types of bacteria who usually cause this medical condition. General symptoms of cellulitis are: inflammation, redness, swelling and pain to touch of infected area. Also we can add chills and fever as common symptoms, but on every person can appear different group of symptoms. Minor skin trauma (cuts, burns, insect bites) allows bacteria to enter the body and cause infection. Treatment is usually with antibiotics depends on severity of infection and body response (mild and moderate cases 10-15 days). Recurrence is possible up to 50 % depends on type of cellulitis. Medical attention is recommended because if this condition left untreated may rapidly spread and cause big troubles to organic structure and even sometimes with fatal consequences.

Cellulitis is a skin infection caused by bacteria. Normally, your skin helps protect you from infection. But if you have a cut, sore, or insect bite, bacteria can get into the skin and spread to deeper tissues. If it is not treated with antibiotics, the infection can spread to the blood or lymph nodes. This can be deadly. Some people can get cellulitis without having a break in the skin. These include older adults and people who have diabetes or a weak immune system. These people are also more likely to develop dangerous problems from cellulitis. And they are more likely to get cellulitis again.
