This is a very common question. CD duplication reproduces CDs by “burning” CD-R media on a CD burner. This method is best suited to “short-run” CD projects. The turn-around time is quick, generally about a week, but the cost per unit is usually more expensive. Whereas, CD CD-R replication is a manufacturing process which produces “stamped” CDs. This process is best suited for a large run of CDs, usually a 1,000 minimum run. This is the most cost-effective per unit but requires much longer turn-around times.
