What is CCG® Compression Cerclage Gundolf?
A bone-clasping band made of pure titanium with a roughened surface, allowing infinitely variable adjustment to the required circumference. Its use is indicated wherever wire cerclages have hitherto been used. A special tool, the “cerclateur”, is used to mechanically produce adequate prestressing and thus compression. This effective method has been developed in close cooperation with Dr. Gundolf of Austria.
