Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS) of Elgin is a non-profit community service program of Family Service Association of Greater Elgin Area and is affiliated with the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC). CCCS of Elgin provides financial advice, debt management, and educational programs. CCCS teaches people how to live within their income and rehabilitates people burdened by debt. It is not a charity organization, a lending institution, or a collection agency.
