You may be seeing the EAV or SAV pulses in the waveform. In the CONFIGURE WFM/VEC menu, select EAV SAV strip. See if this clears the ringing. If not, the ringing could be for two other reasons. First, the compression from 4:4:4 to 4:2:2 leaves unequal rise times in the luminance and color difference channels. If timing is off, overshoots will be exaggerated when the signal is re-matrixed to RGB. You can see this effect by observing color bars in WFM601 series RGB display. This is an artifact of compression, not the measurement instrument. Second, the rise time of the signal has not been edge-controlled, and could really be ringing the anti-alias filters in the D/A converter in the WFM601E.
