If this is the case, you are lucky you have not had a fire in there yet. I knew someone that microwaved a bag of tortilla chips and did not notice the staple in the bag. The entire bag burst into flames in the microwave. If it is not due to something that is in your microwave, then you probably have a mechanical problem with your microwave.
