What is causing my leaves on my rose bush to turn a off yellow with spots?
first you will see the black spots and then they will turn yellow and fall off this is a fungi it is common in roses it does not mean you are over watering roses love water and should get 1 inch of water every 7 to 10 days however when you water your roses do it in the morning so when the leaves get wet they will be able to dry before the sun goes down. It takes about 4 to 7 hours of being wet to get the spores off to a good start on the leaves. When you see a black spot on the leaves you need to take it off so it wont spread to other roses you can find many products in the store that help control black spots. I have a lot of roses and where I live we tend to get a lot of rain this time of year however I have found something that really works, Here are the ingredients 15 tomato leaves 2 small onions 1/4 cup of rubbing alcohol chop the tomato leaves and onions until finely minced and steep them overnight in the alcohol. then use a small sponge type paint brush to apply the brew to both
